Who we are

Glasses Wine Bar was founded in 2016 by Rob and Kathleen Martens. For Rob & Kathleen, the mission was two-fold: introduce wines from around the world to North Lake Tahoe and create a space where friends could gather. Mission Accomplished!

Fast forward to 2020 - Mike Walker and Jeff Peterson, new residents to Incline Village and splitting time between Lake Tahoe and their home in Napa California, found Glasses Wine Bar and decided to check it out. After an evening of great wine and conversation, Mike & Jeff joined the wine club and the rest, as they say, is history!

When Rob & Kathleen decided to sell the bar and fulfill a dream of living abroad, Mike & Jeff took a leap of faith and purchased the bar. Realizing that most of the friends they had made over the past five years had come from evenings at Glasses Wine Bar, sharing great conversations over great wines (and live music on Saturday nights), their mission was simple: continue bringing great wines to North Lake Tahoe and create a comfortable space for the community and visitors to gather.
